No. Pro is yours permanently once it is paid for, with full access to all future updates and support for other synthesizers. You can buy a Pro license for $99 up front, or rent-to-own for 10 monthly payments of $15.
Each monthly payment unlocks Pro for the following month. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until your current paid month ends. After that, your account returns to the free version. Payments you have already made remain credited, so if you start again later, you pick up where you left off instead of starting over.
Synth Explorer works with the OB-6, Prophet-6, and Prophet-5/10 Rev4. Both the Free and Pro versions support every compatible synth.
Each sound saved to the shared library is automatically converted for the OB-6, Prophet-6, and Prophet-5 & 10 Rev4, so you can audition and edit it on any supported synth. Synth Explorer Free is limited to 20 sounds, while Synth Explorer Pro supports up to 1,000.
